On Page 39 referring to the Moscow game the wording should have been:
For example Kuznetsov Bonsch-Osmolovosy Moscow 1964 continued 7…Be7 8. h5 Nh4 with advantage to White.
On Friday 18th March 2016 Topalov played the delayed Shuffleduck in his candidates match against Giri. There is a better line than Topalov played which is given by Williams on the Chessbase site and it will be in CBM 171 which will be released in 2 weeks time.
I have started a new website related to the Shuffleduck and allied systems. Please see http://hpawn-warrior.weebly.com

Daniel Sullivan has pointed out to me that my 'improvement' of 3.h4 is not new and is given in Fighting the Anti-Sicilians by Richard Palliser. I hereby acknowledge this book, and do generally recommend Palliser's books. Interesting enough Palliser who advocates an early h4 in other lines does not do so here, saying that it is too optimistic.
I will stick by what I say that the move is useful and I suggest that the White player will get good positions with this move. It caused a stir recently when I played this move order in the Darnall anniversary quickplay and quickly overran my opponent although he was some 20 points higher graded than me.
The Chinese do not seem so hung up on which moves are 'correct' and have taken to the following variation from the Shuffleduck. Admittedly the Chinese don't play h4 until move 5 but it results in the same position. This game was 'best game' from the recent World Cup in Baku.
